Berlin GAA e.V. is still a young club, having only been founded in November 2014.  However, our membership is already almost 50/50 men and women and our Ladies Gaelic Football team is going from strength to strength. We're delighted to say that we are an extremely international squad with players from Ireland, Scotland, England, Germany and even Australia! 

We're very proud of our ladies who have their sights set on silverware this year. The team is led by Captain, Maeve Killen and Ladies Officer, Fíona Canavan, who make up the midfield. Both players grew up playing Gaelic football in Dublin and enjoy sharing their experience and introducing new players to the game. Our stellar defence is very international and starts with Erika Fowler from Scotland who recently joined the club and has an inter-county kickout! Nadja Hennig (Berlin) and Kate Corcoran (Cavan) provide a wall at the back brilliantly supported by Vicky Ainsworth (Dublin) and Dervla Nash (Clare). This gang all started playing Gaelic football in Berlin but look like they've been playing together for years! Our forward line is composed of Fee Wiedmann (Glasgow) and Cathy Waters (Wicklow), a dream team at the front, supporting the midfield and popping points like pros!
